I am leery of overburdening the episode guide with personal anecdotes. But as I mention here, it's difficult to discuss the meaning of certain scenes without descending into cliche. My workaround is to do so through personal analogy. I love that we've gotten to the point where single shots from the show now represent entire ideas, and hopefully a lot of that comes through in the shots I selected for the essay. At the risk of repeating myself, I used a similar visual approach to Oz and Willow's relationship as I did in to Tara and Willow's in the Top 10. I think I'm okay with this. In one case it was to represent processing grief, and here it is meant to represent not putting the past in the future. Moving forward in spite of the risks. I can live with the parity.

Edit 10/3/17 - I've realized today that my reflections here about loneliness spring BOTH from Wild at Heart, the movie Her, AND from the Channel Criswell deconstruction of Her. I just recently rewatched Criswell's video and noticed a distracting number of parallel ideas I hadn't intended. I think I've managed to re-contextualize everything properly here but I would be remiss if I didn't mention it. The overlap was unintended. I think his video just had a profound effect on me personally. You can find this wonderful video here:

Rajah, my 5-month-old F4 Bengal cat, is learning the way of the ninja cat - trying out a sneaky new method to see if it works for him. This is my office desk where he enjoys hanging out with me. He definitely got his share of chicken after I finished capturing this video. :)
